" It wasn't an easy journey" Bishop David gives more details about their missionary journey.

REV. DAVID CLERGY COUNCIL's founder and International President,Bishop Dr David Akakpo arrived in Ghana from Togo last Monday 14th June 2021 for the historic Bishopric Consecration ceremony of the Founder and General Overseer of Emmanuel Prayer Ministry,Bishop Elect Emmanuel Darko. The ceremony is set to happen this Friday,18th June 2021 at the church Headquarters at Nkenkaasu in the Ashanti Region. In an interview with the Founding President,Bishop David recounted the ordeal of their journey. He said the journey started from  Berna in Togo through to Worawora in Ghana where they board a taxi to Dambai in the Oti Region of Ghana. Since they have to go through Techiman in the Bono East Region; it's necessary they have to pass through Kete Krachi. This left them with no option than to enter into the Yapei Queen  which is locally known as ' Pantoon' to cross the Oti River to Asuogya before boarding Kete Krachi bus. It's a journey that will take two and a half hours to complete. At Kete Krachi they have to enter another Ferry to cross the Volta River to Kwadjokrom, and this journey means an hour and forty five minutes on the waters. After safe docking at  Kwadjokrom another three hours journey by car to Atebubu awaits them; and their real ordeal have just started. " after about two and half hours of the journey the taxi we boarded had a gas shortage. We have to help the driver get a motor bike, remove the gas tank and wait about an hour or two for his return" the Bishop narrated. After they arrived Atebubu that's where they will head to Techiman tiredly have to been on the road for another three more hours and arriving Techiman in the Bono Region very late in the night. " It wasn't an easy journey, but we took the Oath of Due Obedience and Allegiance to the Sovereign not because of the Bishopric title but to work hard for the propagation of the Gospel" the Bishop told RDCCmedia.

He was accompanied by the International Director for Missions,Bishop Elect Dr Ampadu Frimpong George, the two continued their journey in the evening from Techiman to Nkenkaasu after about a forty more minutes on the road.
