 REV DAVID CLERGY COUNCIL CONFERRED HONORARY AWARDS




The Rev David Clergy Council of Rev David Seminaries And Outreach - Ghana last Saturday,11th November,2023 awarded eight Ministers of the gospel with Honorary Doctorate Degree and Consecrated two Apostles. The Ceremony was held at Asuboi in the Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana at the premises of The Presbyterian Church of Ghana - Ebenezer Congregation, Asuboi. Dignitaries, Church members, families and friends graced the occasion with their numbers as they witness and joined in the celebration of their hardworking pastors. In his sermon Bishop Dr. David Akakpo the Founder and Chairman of the Clergy Council and also the President of Rev David Seminaries And Outreach - Ghana emphasized the need to recognize Pastors for the selfless services they are rendering. He said it's sad nowadays that people mistook Ministry work as lazy job,the Ministry work he stressed that it a difficult work than any other job citing a number of jobs he have partaken in before venturing into Ministry when he received the calling. " Pastors need to be recognized and encouraged for the hard and selfless work they are doing,in most jobs staff have the right to go on strike when the payment or working conditions are not conducive,but how can a pastor go on strike? Even some are not on salary or allowance yet they suffer for the work simply because they want someone to go to heaven" Bishop Dr David Akakpo lamented. The ministers who received the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Ministry include Rev Collins Senya from Dokorochiwa Assemblies of God, Pastor Frederick Kobbina of Grace Gate International Worship Center - Kumasi, Snr Apostle Rockson Martey of El Bethel Salvation Power Ministry International - Accra, Apostle Isaac Oppong of The Healing Mountain of God Prayer Ministry - Suhum, Apostle Lamptey Richard of Temple of Salvation Ministry,Accra and several others. The Secretary of the Clergy Council, National Welfare Department Fidjans Austine Kwadu of RGOM was publicly Consecrated together with Ebenezer Baidoo as Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ and unto the nations. Apostle Prince Owusu Aboagye was also graduated with a Doctorate Degree in Ministry after a two years successful studies in the discipline. The Vice Chairman of the Council and Head Pastor of Flames of Fire Prayer Network located at Accra. Rev David Clergy Council and the Seminary is in Affiliation with AMES International School of Ministry - U.S.A and New Day College of Bishops And Apostles located in Nigeria; and a member of the Association Of Theological School located in Pittsburgh. In an interview with the President he said the main objectives of recognizing and honoring ministers of the gospel to encourage them and other ministers to continue with good Service and attain a good name as one of the legacies they'll leave behind and to also let them know God rewards faithful people.

DAVID CLERGY COUNCIL's founder and International President,Bishop Dr David Akakpo arrived in Ghana from Togo last Monday 14th June 2021 for the historic Bishopric Consecration ceremony of the Founder and General Overseer of Emmanuel Prayer Ministry,Bishop Elect Emmanuel Darko. The ceremony is set to happen this Friday,18th June 2021 at the church Headquarters at Nkenkaasu in the Ashanti Region. In an interview with the Founding President,Bishop David recounted the ordeal of their journey. He said the journey started from  Berna in Togo through to Worawora in Ghana where they board a taxi to Dambai in the Oti Region of Ghana. Since they have to go through Techiman in the Bono East Region; it's necessary they have to pass through Kete Krachi. This left them with no option than to enter into the Yapei Queen  which is locally known as ' Pantoon' to cross the Oti River to Asuogya before boarding Kete Krachi bus.
